Repair Cafe: Fix What's Broken In-Person
The Repair Cafe is back! Volunteers will help you fix broken household items, usually for free. The Burlingame Library Foundation will cover the cost of parts up to $10 for a part.
You are welcome to bring up to three items for evaluation and hopefully repair. There will be someone who does small jewelry repairs, but she mostly does clasps and earring backs. She cannot re-string an item or set stones.
In addition to the Repair Cafe, there will also be a free e-waste drive, mattresses, and old tires from 9:00am-1:00pm by the Bellevue door.
They take almost all electronics, but there are a few items they do NOT take.
They cannot accept: any size refrigerators, washers/dryers, copiers, lawn mowers, treadmills, microwaves. Also no batteries, light bulbs or paint.
