Join us for our opening night with Nany Tendjoukian, who will present wall and sculptural pieces for the month of April! She will be presenting a collage project that allows participants to understand a bit of how she creates these pieces.

Artist Statement:
collage... montage...buttons...yarn...branches...lace.

These are the everyday items I weave together to present the world before me.
In order to be present in the moment, I create objects through odd materials while listening to music, often repeating the song until the completion of the work.

Weaving these materials makes me understand the intricacies of the world - like needlework, my creations weave the knots and patterns of the world. The library is open after-hours the first Friday of each month, in which we launch the exhibit. Come meet the artists, a selection of whose work will be exhibited for the month, and discover their inspirations and visions. Enjoy mocktails and other refreshments, take part in other activities throughout the night, and possibly take something home.
