Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor Patricia Arquette has had a long career in film and television. In 2015 she won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in “Boyhood.”
Ms. Arquette formed the non-profit organization GiveLove.org working to provide ecological sanitation globally and has been an important voice in calling for fair and equal pay for women and is an advocate for the Equal Rights Amendment.
Congresswoman Jackie Speier represents California’s 14th Congressional District, which stretches from the southern portion of San Francisco through San Mateo County to East Palo Alto. She has championed laws to protect women from violence, promote equal rights for all, and provide a strong national defense free of fraud and wasteful spending. She was named to Newsweek’s list of “Fearless Women” in the world.
